This week we are featuring a local artist who carves owl pencil holders and owl tea light holders from wood. These are top quality, unique products you will not find anywhere else! Richard collects beautiful pieces of hard wood that have been pruned during woodland management in one of our local large estates (by arrangement of course!) and seasons them until they are ready to use. This wood would otherwise be waste material and be chipped. After seasoning Richard carves the little owl silhouettes to insert into the pencil holders and desk tidys. His tea light holders throw beautiful silhouettes on the wall.
